Biography

Born and presently residing in Lexington, Kentucky, Sherry Baumann, spent
her formative years involved in the equine industry - riding,
breaking,training, and caring for Thoroughbreds and Arabians.

Her interests
vary from antiques to computers; from dinosaurs to science fiction.
  As her artistic name, "Sweet Briar", implies, Sherry has a certain duality
to her nature.  This characteristic is evident in her art; which varies from
the whimsical to the hauntingly mysterious. Her style is definitely not
limited by traditional schools of thought. Her blend of colors and textures
is quite unique. The passion and subtleties of her images can often be
appreciated only after closer observation.  When you visit her site, Art
