Review

"…Even given the smooth surface of the lacquer, Quang manages to suggest the lush flora and fauna and animals of the countryside in a thoroughly impressionist manner; yet at the same time, there is a hint of pointillist fashion about his work that further highlights the richness of the detail and color, though these are, for the most part, muted. It is an odd combination which is broken by another layer when he abstract his scenes by adding geometric diagrams to suggest buildings, but they also act occasion as frames as if to highlight a detail".
