Mont’s been painting since he was a boy.  His academic screed is on his canvas.  The pictures and their titles talk.  Mont has staged only two public exhibitions; both in the 80’s. 

In Sorell, down under downunder Downunder, he endeavours to eke out a living painting, designing, apricot picking and writing. 

Once, he’d rather give his paintings away (if he could tear them from his family), but recently he’s realised the reality-check of commerce in the credibility-critique.  “They’re not finished until they’re cash”, he says; though still some are too home-sacred to move.

Mont paints for full connection between the loungeroom and everybody’s world, dna and go-go.
