Biography

Hratch Israelian

Hratch Israelian was born in Armenia 1956, Being an artist and a son of emigrants he was an outsider in his own native country.

From 1972 he pioneered and continue to develop a new painting technique, an undetectable process; which still unexplored by the art public.
As a young men he was dreaming to earn money by this technique, he claims that, "this simple process by hands and the use of same paint is enough to achieve great production speed, extremely low cost, unlimited size and high quality that cameras and computers have not yet achieved in their ultimate visual images."

In 1976 he had his first one men show in Yerevan Armenia; and in 1980 he traveled from Yerevan to Los Angeles, he brought with him 200 paintings produced outside of the official art circles of the Soviet Union, and they carry the Minister of culture`s official seal on there back.

He has studied art at the college but he consider himself a self taught artist and eternal student.
