Having
worked and belonged to several experimental workshops with different artists,
she has developed a personal style and technique, using oil, acrylics, asphalt,
bee wax, and metallic enamels. In the creative work of Dulce María
Rivas, it is perceptible the contribution of experience based in the senses,
as well as in intellect, making use of visual seduction as mean and purpose
of her art. She feels a great predilection for Tauromaquia, and
has dedicated several of her pieces to bullfighting art. Part of her
artistic work is also conformed by excellent portraits of numerous society
and politics personalities.
