Biography

Anna Ivanova
Anna Ivanova (born in 1971) is a contemporary artist from Tashkent. In 1993 she
graduated from the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute, with a degree from the
faculty of Graphic Arts. At the same time she studied drawing at the experimental
studio of Mr. Salpinkidis.
She has held solo and group exhibitions in Uzbekistan since 1995, as well as group
shows in London. Her work is in the collection of
the National Bank of Uzbekistan, and in private collections in the UK, Germany and USA.
Previous exhibitions: Youth Exhibitions, Gallery in Cork Street, London 1995;
solo exhibition, Gallery Master, 1995;
East-West Dialogue Through Time exhibition, 1997;
and at the Exhibition Hall, Tashkent 2000.
Since 1994, she has had several exhibitions in republic art galleries, the UK and
more recently in the USA in 2002.
She lives and works in Tashkent.
